I've received all my paperwork from Ryukoku University. I've been assigned a room in the Tomoiki International dorm, along with my other friends who will also be going to that uni. Furthermore, I'm allowed to stay in Japan for up to 15 months.
I need to get my student visa sorted, as well as my airfare. I've been looking around, but one of my friends has found a good airline for a cheap ticket - a little under $600. I just need to head over to the Japanese consulate in the city and apply for my student visa.
Other than that, I've been studying my butt off to prepare for the placement exam that I will have to sit on my second day there. I've been focusing on my vocabulary, but I'm also brushing up on my kanji and grammar at the same time - oh and my conversation skills too -_-.
